LooksMaxxing is an AI-powered mobile app that analyzes your facial features from multiple angles to provide personalized insights and recommendations. Here's how it works:

  1. Sign In: Create an account using Google Sign-In
  2. Capture: Take photos from three angles (front, left profile, right profile)
  3. Analyze: Our AI examines 468 facial landmarks
  4. Results: Get detailed reports on symmetry, golden ratio, and facial harmony
  5. Recommendations: Receive personalized hairstyle suggestions and facial exercises
How do I download the app?

LooksMaxxing is available on both iOS and Android:

  • iOS: Visit the App Store and search for "LooksMaxxing"
  • Android: Visit Google Play Store and search for "LooksMaxxing"
  • Or visit our download page for direct links

The app is free to download with core features available at no cost.

What are the system requirements?

iOS Requirements:

  • iOS 13.0 or later
  • iPhone 6S or newer recommended
  • Camera access required
  • ~150MB free storage

Is LooksMaxxing free to use?

Yes! LooksMaxxing offers a generous free tier that includes:

  • Unlimited face scans
  • Basic AI analysis (symmetry, golden ratio, face shape)
  • Access to hairstyle recommendations
  • Facial exercise library
  • Scan history (last 30 days)

Premium features (if applicable) may include advanced analytics, extended history, and priority support.

👤 Account & Login

How do I create an account?

Creating an account is simple and secure:

  1. Open the LooksMaxxing app
  2. Tap "Sign In with Google"
  3. Select your Google account
  4. Grant necessary permissions (camera, storage)
  5. Complete your profile setup

Note: We use Google Sign-In for enhanced security. Your Google password is never shared with LooksMaxxing.

I'm having trouble logging in. What should I do?

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Check internet connection: Ensure you have a stable connection
  • Update the app: Make sure you're running the latest version
  • Clear cache: Go to Settings > Apps > LooksMaxxing > Clear Cache
  • Re-authorize Google: Go to Google Account settings and check app permissions
  • Reinstall: Uninstall and reinstall the app (your data is cloud-saved)

How do I change my account information?

To update your account details:

  1. Open the app and tap your profile icon
  2. Go to Settings > Account Settings
  3. Edit your name, profile picture, or preferences
  4. Tap "Save Changes"

Note: Your email address is linked to your Google account and cannot be changed directly. To use a different email, create a new account.

How do I delete my account?

⚠️ Warning: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

To delete your account:

  1. Go to Settings > Account Settings
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
  3. Read the warning and confirm deletion
  4. Your account will be deleted within 30 days

All your data (photos, scans, history) will be permanently deleted. You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@looksmaxxing.app.

📸 Scanning & Analysis

How do I get the best scan results?

Follow these tips for optimal results:

Lighting:

  • Use natural, even lighting (avoid harsh shadows)
  • Face the light source directly
  • Avoid backlighting or extreme overhead lights

Positioning:

  • Hold your phone at eye level
  • Keep your face within the guide frame
  • Maintain a neutral expression
  • Remove glasses and hats
  • Ensure hair is away from face for profile shots

Camera Quality:

  • Clean your camera lens
  • Use the rear camera for better quality
  • Ensure stable hand position (use voice guidance)
What do the scores mean?

LooksMaxxing provides several metrics:

Symmetry Score (0-100):

  • Measures left-right facial balance
  • 80-100: Highly symmetrical
  • 60-79: Above average
  • 40-59: Average
  • Below 40: Below average

Golden Ratio (φ ≈ 1.618):

  • Compares facial proportions to classical beauty standards
  • Closer to 1.618 indicates alignment with golden ratio
  • Applied to multiple facial measurements

Facial Harmony Score:

  • Overall aesthetic balance
  • Combines symmetry, proportions, and feature relationships
  • Holistic assessment of facial appeal

Remember: These are AI-generated estimates for informational purposes. Beauty is subjective!

How often should I scan my face?

We recommend scanning once every 2-4 weeks for best results.

Why not daily?

  • Facial changes happen gradually
  • Daily scans won't show meaningful differences
  • Lighting and positioning variations can cause score fluctuations

When to scan more frequently:

  • After starting a new facial exercise routine (weekly check-ins)
  • Following significant weight changes
  • After cosmetic procedures (per doctor's approval)
Can I use photos from my gallery instead of taking new ones?

Yes! You can upload existing photos from your gallery.

Requirements for uploaded photos:

  • Clear, well-lit images
  • Face clearly visible
  • Appropriate angle (front, left profile, or right profile)
  • Neutral expression preferred
  • High resolution (at least 720p)

Note: In-app camera provides voice guidance and positioning help for best results. Uploaded photos may have lower accuracy if positioning is suboptimal.

What face shapes does the app recognize?

LooksMaxxing identifies the following face shapes:

  • Oval: Balanced proportions, slightly longer than wide
  • Round: Similar width and length, soft angles
  • Square: Strong jawline, similar width and length
  • Heart: Wider forehead, narrow chin
  • Diamond: Narrow forehead and chin, wide cheekbones
  • Oblong: Long face, narrow features
  • Triangle: Narrow forehead, wide jawline

Each shape gets customized hairstyle and styling recommendations.

🔒 Privacy & Data Security

Is my data safe and private?

Absolutely. We take privacy seriously:

  • AES-256 encryption for all stored data
  • TLS 1.3 encryption for data transmission
  • Secure cloud storage with redundancy
  • Regular security audits
  • GDPR, CCPA, and international compliance

Privacy Guarantees:

Who can see my photos and results?

Short answer: Only you.

Your photos and analysis results are completely private:

  • Encrypted and stored securely in your account
  • Not visible to other users
  • Not used for marketing or advertising
  • Staff access only for technical support (with your permission)

Anonymized Data:

  • We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve AI models
  • All identifying information is removed
  • You can opt-out in Privacy Settings
How do I download or delete my data?

Download Your Data:

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Data
  2. Tap "Download My Data"
  3. Select data types (photos, scans, history)
  4. Receive download link via email within 24 hours

Delete Specific Data:

  • Individual scans: Swipe left on scan in history
  • Photos: Go to Gallery > Select > Delete
  • All data: Settings > Delete Account

Data deletion is permanent after 30-day grace period.

💳 Subscription & Billing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all payment methods supported by:

  • iOS: Apple Pay, credit/debit cards via App Store
  • Android: Google Pay, credit/debit cards via Play Store

All payments are processed securely through App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment information.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS Users:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name > Subscriptions
  3. Select LooksMaxxing
  4. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

Android Users:

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Tap Menu > Subscriptions
  3. Select LooksMaxxing
  4. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by App Store or Google Play according to their policies.

🔧 Technical Issues

The app keeps crashing. What should I do?

Try these troubleshooting steps in order:

  1. Force close and reopen: Swipe up (iOS) or use Recent Apps (Android)
  2. Clear app cache: Settings > Apps > LooksMaxxing > Clear Cache
  3. Update the app: Check App Store/Play Store for updates
  4. Restart your device: Power off completely, then restart
  5. Free up storage: Ensure at least 500MB free space
  6. Reinstall the app: Delete and download fresh (data is cloud-saved)

Still crashing? Contact support with:

  • Device model and OS version
  • App version number
  • Description of when crashes occur
Camera permissions aren't working

iOS:

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera
  2. Find LooksMaxxing in the list
  3. Toggle ON camera access
  4. Restart the app

Android:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > LooksMaxxing
  2. Tap Permissions
  3. Enable Camera permission
  4. Restart the app

If issues persist, reinstall the app and grant permissions when prompted.

My scan history disappeared

Don't worry! Your data is cloud-saved. Try:

  1. Pull to refresh: Swipe down on scan history screen
  2. Check internet: Ensure stable connection
  3. Log out and back in: Settings > Log Out > Sign back in
  4. Check filters: Ensure no date filters are hiding scans

If scans are truly missing, contact support immediately with your account email. We maintain backups for data recovery.
